At Hyperfest 2, one of the many priceless contacts we made, Brian Hardgroove, bassist of Public Enemy, talked to me about a radio show he's doin in Santa Fe. Long story short -- "Unkept" this Saturday (May 26th) on his show "Hardgroove's Fuse Box". The show will air at 12 Noon (mountain time) and will rebroadcast on Wednesday (May 30th) at 7PM (mountain time).

Hardgroove's Fuse Box airs on INDIE 101.5 FM in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

hello everyone. unfortunately it has not been a fun coupla days. first lets get the facts. Justin Florez is one of the best friends i've ever had. Justin Florez is the drummer of The Ground Beneath. this will be the case for years and years to come. Justin Florez has to go away for 28 days. we love him and support him and have a lot of respect for what is going on. there is no reason Justin should not be back behind the drum kit for our CD Release on June 17 at the Launchpad. until then our good friend for many years, Jesse McDermott of Old Man Shattered, will be filling in for Justin. Justin approves of this decision as does Jesse's band Old Man Shattered. these are the facts of what is going on. there will be no show cancellations. we play next at the Launchpad w/Jesse on drums on May 16 as planned. we go on tour in the south as planned. if there's anything further you'd like to know, i'm sure Justin will answer your questions at the Cd Release show. he is our brother and we'd appreciate your support sent his way. thanks you guys! Ok kids! We are heading into the studio one more time tonight to mix down the live album! It looks like we should still be able to put it out in June ...the last mix (which we took on the road w/us to Austin two weeks ago) we decided was real close to perfect but there's just a few more things that need tweaking ...what can we say! We want it to be a great sounding record if we're gonna put it out ...stay tuned ...we will mix down tonight and take it on the road next week and let everyone know soon! s
