hmmm.. i will say this-- im not 100% sold on this venue and Rob commented on the same thing ..its sounds weird on stage there... i did LOVE having our sound guy jorge back after a few months! of course thanks to all who came out and sang along ...almost louder than me! -- s

Rio Rancho! a MAJOR blizzard and you get scared off? well except for the die hards... gooch squad in full effect! still a fun show tho -- s

so awesome to see ms erica! we played BLAME unplugged and got some great footage for our upcoming dvd... we also did a killer photo shoot after this on top of Hotel Parq Central... but the radio show was the highlight! -- s

a little sketchy over the speaker phone but still a great plug! they played BETRAYAL and we got to plug some upcoming shows so it was all good -- s

tried a brand new place... moved this show for Warner Drive to have a good night ...and it worked! -- s

i do not recommend this venue. KrashKarma rules -- s

super fun Unplugged show. Ralf from KrashKarma gave us his "german cowboy" cover of johnny cash... great night for sure -- s

first show for the new lineup... played Nirvana songs dressed as them! made some great friends and had a great time -- s

The greatest thing about this night, besides sharing the stage w/our good buds from Ireland (mike got spiked) was that Dave from MGS sat in my bedroom all day while i was gone and learned our tunes and with NO PRACTICE pulled em off w/us as our drummer that night ...unbe LEE vable -- s

this was an UNPLUGGED show w/ our good buds MIKE GOT SPIKED from Ireland... it was great to meet their new fill in bassist Barry and hear his adventures w/the cops in LA 1omins after leaving the airport... dave from MGS joined us on drums for a few songs and ...it went way better than expected! -- s

so we had somewhere between 3 & 5 songs done for the new album and this show was a 90min main stage slot... this was coming off of a 9 hour day in the studio where we didnt get ONE SINGLE GOOD TAKE on the drums... 9 hours straight of drum takes dude... it was bad... it was clear to me that our drummer had fallen back into his drug addiction and this show proved it for me even more... having said that it was mostly a good show... we tried something new and did a couple songs w/3 acoustic guitars sitting down near the front of the stage... zeppelin style! -- s

this was never gonna be as good as the Rio Rancho show -- s

UN. BULL. LEEVABLE. this was the sickest show of the year bar none... the place was packed and we were LOUD... the cops came several times during our set and the crowd was raging... bodies were flying even on the slow songs! what a killer night -- s

what a memorable night! LA Guns were soo so cool to us! Tracii did a great cameo on our dvd that i've been making forever... the opening band got all wounded when they were asked to move their gear and they bailed so it was just LaG & TGB! it was also Kenny's first show and man what a great energy he brought! he did some vocals and some headbangin and played the whole set pretty dead on! thanks to everyone who bought ALL our tickets and sent in video and pics after the fact! so awesome -- s

always great to see our buds in Canobliss! they had like 14 different shirt designs for sale putting every band in our town to shame! i thought this show went pretty well but i could tell Hunter wasnt as into it as he had been... and i was right! he quit the band only days after this show but we are all still friends -- s

just another episode in our series of shows where the road band doesnt show up! on this particular night we really didnt mind... it was just us w/no other bands so we played as many songs as we could come up with and split! -- s

opened for the incredible Vains of Jenna ...always good to jam w/those guys! this is our third time opening for them in 6 months but i don't think they'll be back in the USA for a while so we made sure we enjoyed it even more! ended up getting a pretty decent audio recording of this show... i'd like to release some kind of live package someday of all these live recordings we've gotten over the years -- s

4th show in six nights... the road band didnt show up! never heard from em... so we played as long as we could and split! -- s

so awesome! got to see a lot of our LA buds and played a blistering set w/Jorge at the helm in front of house... a great trip! -- s

first time at this all ages venue... they let Jorge mix which is always a bonus... seems the bands didnt sell their tickets and one of em didnt even show ...oh local music scenes where is your work ethic? -- s

we DO NOT recommend this venue -- s

super fun bday show! friends i hadnt seen since high school made it out and it was a blast! Kris from requiem mass did a couple songs w/us as did Justin from distances ...so awesome! aj almost caught on fire from the sparking outlet behind him ...metal baby! -- s

super disappointing that Cage9 broke down on the way to the show! they didnt make it obviously but we still jammed out and made it a great show -- s

things are starting to get really solid w/AJ back in the band! great homecoming show -- s

a very memorable trip for many reasons... just glad the drug problems arent IN the band anymore! this coincided w/some of us going to see Rammstein at the T&M center... great show in vegas tho for sure! killer crowd -- s

some bands don't realize you gotta EARN it son! -- s

always good to play Gallup ...not as good as the show the night before in ABQ or even as good as the last time we were in Gallup but we'll be back again sooner -- s

sickest show of the year so far! it just keeps on getting better and better! a slew of hot chicks, three bday parties, a fight, several mosh pits and an hour plus long headlining set! this was an incredible night and it helped fuel us for the next road shows -- s

best show of the year so far! and on a tuesday! we had never played this venue before and i had an awesome day hangin w/warner drive. we all descended on the venue around 6pm and loaded in. dawn runs the place and she was so hospitable making coffee and had cold drinks for everyone. all the bands did their job promoting and the place filled up by the 2nd band and it was an awesome night! the schedule ran a little behing so wd & tgb each cut one song but it was still an amazing night! may more to come -- s

wow the promoter was a bit difficult! it was great to have the team of Jorge (our sound guy) and his bro Juan (the lighting tech for the El Rey) w/us tho! Jorge has worked for Black Oak Arkansas & Foghat and is now on the TGB crew for good! Juan used to run the lights for the DEFTONES on the road ...not bad... -- s

the first road trip w/a new lineup is always interesting... and this one was the best EVER! it went so incredibly smooth i just couldnt believe it! Jeff is a great drummer and an awesome guy and Jorge our sound guy is a killer audition to the crew! -- s

wow what an amazing day! we had dax from requiem mass fillin in on drums. me & hunter rolled up to the venue kinda early at 4pm and there were all 6 members of the damned things playing their full set... it was like a personal performance! we made quick friends w/rob from anthrax and he has corresponded w/me since the show as well! scott ian was not as personable as i had hoped but they were all also frustrated w/the blown monitor system during soundcheck. scott signed some stuff for dax and we were able to get several tgb cds & requiem cds on their bus! everyone who came out was great as well and we made some new friends and new contacts -- s

wow i shouldve read my thoughts from our new years day show from last year! this was a ruff one w/no impressive turnout -- s

well it was great to see my brothers and sister in Warner Drive... we spent a relaxing afternoon at my house as we slowly prepared for the show... unfortunately the show was mishandled by the venue and we took a hit as did the other bands financially... the best part of the evening was playing 5 songs w/Jonny U on drums and Jonny Jonah on 2nd guitar... TGB loves us some all star jams! -- s

turned out better than i expected! we had an early slot but everyone who showed up for us was there FOR US and knew the words and dax from requiem mass always is a great fill in drummer -- s

thanks to our buddy Alex (ex TGB drummer) for fillin in on this show... Atomic lost their liquor license however and the all ages experiment didnt yield great results -- s

Erica Viking is back on top! we love her so much and it was a great honor to be asked to return to her morning FM slot... we did Unpkept & Blame just me and Hunter... if youre lucky we might post the recording -- s

well Hunter nailed his Green Day costume visually to a T! we pulled off four songs that we barely knew and the night was complete success for everyone! Coma Recovery as U2, YaYa boom as B52's & us as Green Day... there were so many great covers! -- s

one of the stand out shows of the yr for us for sure! we got to reconnect w/our friends in PM5K and the great Evan Rodacniche has signed on to make TGB III w/us in la next yr

a great night over all! the Launchpad let us leave our gear overnight so it was a nice easy breezy cruise over the venue about 8pm and everyone had great renditions of both voodoo child's, angel, purple haze & more! we played Fire, Star Spangled Banner, Little Wing & All Along The Watchtower... the last two went really well! great tribute to Jimi and a packed house w/a killer crowd ...thanks to all who came out! -- s

we were already kinda beat from doing the gig at the Fair but here we went for another round! great show and very high energy w/a KILLER crowd! it just keeps gettin better and better w/this new lineup... we ended w/a new song and it went over really well! -- s

back under the white tent at the fair grounds but it was still the main stage so it was all good! we are definitely not used to a sitting crowd so we werent sure if they were into it ...till we saw the line at our merch table! thanx to all who supported! -- s

well i replaced the bassist of this band and got a new drummer ...so it was time to see what these guys had after only 3 or 4 practices and about 12 days of knowing each other! the show was soooo much fun and one of the best crowds of 2010 for sure... we pulled it off for sure! great things lie ahead -- s

one of the funnest shows we've done in a while! first show in about 60 days too... thanks to everyone who came out to watch me & matt w/no other bands ...we were just kinda makin it up til my voice gave out! -- s

haha ab-so-loot CHAOS! i played drums and so did Matt at one point and then i think i was on bass while Jeff from Eve of an End sang... and i seem to remember Frankie from eoae w/out pants at one point ...lots of Sabbath covers and maybe Metallica (altho some of these songs tend to fall apart after the intro or first verse) ...anyway it was fun night and a cool send off for us as we moved to Las Vegas only a week or two later -- s

a great jam for TGB! this and the HeadHunters show in March were probably the two best shows of the yr by this point. Dax from Requiem Mass would be the main reason on both! we played our songs and we did an encore Aerosmith cover w/Johnny U from Warner Drive on the drums! great way to end a chapter of our career -- s

well let's see ...it was my 27th bday and me and matt drove across nevada and california to play an acoustic show just the two of us ...and it was pretty cool! -- s

any time the bassist has to sit down on the drums and show the drummer a song in front of record label people it's a bit embarrassing ...needless to say we canned this drummer and flew him home from the next city -- s

4 song set and this drummer screwed up on all 4 songs -- s

the drummer was not cutting it ...he played one song so fast i couldnt even say the words -- s

really cool to play the newly remodled stage! -- s

well we had more people than last time we were in Denver! and we got some email addresses and got to hang out w/old friends and really made a great impression on the venue... i would highly recommend this venue! -- s

this show was awesome! well after the fireworks anyway... there was only three bands but another band (who i had originally asked to open the show but never replied back) was promoting that they were on the bill and i found out the day before ...never wanting to be the bad guy, i let them play as well so that there was four bands. i told them they could go on early and play a short set. when i told them it was time to get off stage the vocalist flipped me off and said some things that JUST WERENT GONNA WORK FOR ME. they then started another song so i went and told the sound guy to cut them off at the end of this song. when they started yet another song i grabbed their gear and mics and sent them off stage. the singer threw his mic thus getting his band banned from Burt's (theres only 3 places to play in ABQ downtown so... brilliant!). with the drama and babysitting out of the way we started the REAL show and Eve of an End & Canobliss dominated. our set went well and we ended w/a DIO cover w/my dad jammin -- s

unplugged show! went pretty well ...made some new fans & friends! -- s

great show! Warner Drive & Requiem Mass always dominate! garrett's first show... he did way better than i thought! only one full practice too! -- s

this turned out to be a huge disappointment ...when the drummer and the promoter dont show up how great can it be? -- s

KILLER SHOW! we got shorted on time but the crowd was bangin! we all made a good tribute to our fallen brother Will Barrett and Warner & Requiem played awesome as always -- s

definitely one of the greatest days of my life! all on like 1 hr of sleep too! we killed it at SXSW... our buds Warner Drive came out to watch us w/Dax of Requiem mass on the drums... we had a great dinner w/the legendary Brittany Maas in Round rock TX on the way back to Dallas and then partied w/Vinnie Paul, Videobob & BriDog at the clubhouse! absolutely killer! -- s

HO. LEE. CRAP. these kids brought it tonight! KILLER show... and on a monday too! the venue is awesome i dont know where theyve been hiding this place! we were invited back to do 5 more shows there too! this was alex's first show w/us and he learned 4 out of 5 songs the night before the show... he was a little nervous... but he nailed it and we looked and sounded killer! -- s

killer show! our fill in guy was chunking all over creation on the drums but the crowd didnt seem to care! NMT is always a great show but it seems like some of the town of Socorro came out and it was even better! -- s

cuz its a Trainwreck ...oh yeah! wrong way down a one way track! DUDE! this was such a sick coupla nights... getting to hang w/these guys and drive them all over town... absolutely awesome show too! i think there shoulda been more than the 86 who paid but the WRECK loved abq and the launch and want to come back soon! -- s

Nick is a great guy! made good friends w/him and he's emailed us twice since the show! it was really cool to see him doing his new stuff and old Queens stuff acoustic by himself... ill never forget this night! -- s

IN. SANE. this was in a high school gym so it was a basketball court floor. they covered most of it w/rubber mats so the kids wouldnt scuff the floor w/their kicks. what they didnt account for was that TGB was gonna bring the pain for 2 straight hours and the people barrier right up at the front before the stage would be moving like waves in the ocean. and the legs of the entire fence would be lifted and pounded into the uncovered edge of the gym floor to the primal beat of songs like MINE & SAY IT TO MY FACE & DISAPPEAR... oh we wont be forgetting this show anytime soon. killer day and totally worth the drive -- s

i lost my voice that morning but i still croaked it thru 5 songs and we did a meet and greet and promo-ed for the next day... not a bad evening! s

filmed this one for a live DVD! there were some chunkers on a coupla songs and i dont know if itll ever be released but we have 6 angles and audio direct out of the board so we can send our new songs to our label and the producer(s) we wanna work w/ -- s

yeah so this show didnt happen for us! the bar decided to close before we went on ....thats what happens when no other bands promote on the bill!

well what can i say? ALL my pedals went out because of a power situation so we totally winged it and my dad jammed w/us one song ...and it turned out pretty cool! always good to hang w/REquiem ...seems like forever since we jammed w/them -- s

everyone who made it out said it was great but i am DONE w/this venue and its stupid rules about opening the door to paying customers while theres a song playing on stage... also having some gear crap out didnt help -- s

didnt feel like a show til the moment we were about to start SEWN SHUT... we also did a new song tonight called SAY IT TO MY FACE which we have been working on off and on for about a year ...since the last time matt was in the band! it went over pretty well... good crowd and lots of good friends showed up! unfortuately joey got hit by a drunk driver after the show but was ok and his jeep wrangler barley had any damage except maybe on the front tire... you never know in this town! -- s

well at least the heat was on! the only band on the bill who like us was um... us -- s

cant think of another show where i could SEE MY BREATH... and it was an indoor stage folks -- s

frustrating show! unfortunately this venue rarely has it together ...always good to see our brothers in warner drive tho! its never a long enough visit w/those guys -- s

pretty fun! hard to get people out on a sunday night but the people who made it out make it COUNT! -- s

killer radio show! they played THE BETRAYAL OF A FRIEND & CRY off the black TGB record and for the first time MINE was played on FM radio from the green TGB cd! we also each got to pick one influence to play and it was so awesome to hear 3 great songs that NEVER get radio play ...Joey picked Taste of India by Aerosmith from Nine Lives, Matt picked Floods off of The Great Southern Trendkill by Pantera & i picked Nerve by Soilwork from Stabbing the Drama. we also played BLAME, DISAPPEAR & SEWN SHUT unplugged live on the air. it was supposed to be pre recorded at 2pm and air at 5pm but somebody slept thru their alarm so we had to do it live on the air. me. it was me. -- s

INSANE! killer crowd... absolutely worth the drive out and the snowy, icy, treacherous drive home! this was a great show and we made friends w/all the powerman guys right away... cool guys and a great live sound too! -- s

this was THE BEST BURT'S SHOW I'VE EVER SEEN! the crowd was so high energy and it was such a great turnout for Halloween Friday! great first show for Matt... the sound guy was not good w/monitors but its way better bein in TGB w/a 2nd vocal! -- s

not a bad night at all... actually a really good turnout for a wednesday ...our homies in Mike Got Spiked did well and made some bread for the road so thats always good... of course this is the show that berto would quit the band directly after and appoint matt his successor ...right outside in the back alley! and then there would be controversy and general gnashing of teeth from him later on ...but i'm way happier w/matt in the band! -- s

this night was one of the BEST SHOWS IN THIS BAND'S life! first of all i got to do a coupla songs w/Warner Drive at a packed out Roxy theater a little farther up west on Sunset Strip. that was an incredible experience as TGB got to haunt the backstage, dressing rooms, front entrance and loading areas w/50 free wristbands for that evening's Viper Room show! as always the Viper Room was absolutely exquisite and the staff was beyond kind to us. we played a killer set and made a ton of new friends. fromt he pain and disappointment of the night before LA was 100% the city of healing this night and i can't wait til we go back -- s

so we finally got to meet all our label executives ...and they had two opening bands, a hungry crowd, food, drinks & booze all ready for us! really awesome to hear that we'll be doing this for a living a year from now -- s

i dont know what happened here ...a lot of promises flew out the window on this one! Gallup was sposed to pack out but hey... we still had a good time! wish our buds Warner Drive coulda got some more dough but then again dont we all... Warner played the best set i've seen their new 5 piece lineup do... i was seriously floored! we had a small crowd... only about half the front room full... but there was an energy that worked for me! i thought we played an awesome set and put it away like it should ...next time Gallup... ante up and bring your mom, your friends, your dog & your loose neighbors! -- s
